Refund policy
We want every needle, book and kit from Mend & Roam to feel like a good find. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right.
Returns
You can return most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery. Items should be in their original condition and packaging, with any seals intact.
To start a return, reach us through our contact form at mendandroam.com/pages/contact with your order number and the item(s) you’d like to return. Many of our pieces ship directly from small makers and publishers, so we’ll reply with the right return address and instructions. Please don’t send items back without contacting us first; packages sent to the wrong place can’t be refunded.
Damaged, defective or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective or isn’t what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We’ll send a replacement or a full refund, including shipping, at no cost to you.
Items we can’t accept back
- Embroidery and craft kits that have been opened or started
- Books that have been written in or show signs of use
- Gift cards and items marked final sale
Exchanges
The quickest way to swap an item is to return the original for a refund and place a new order for the item you want.
Refunds
Once your return arrives and is inspected, we’ll let you know. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days; your bank or card issuer may take a little longer to post it. Unless the return is due to our error, original shipping charges aren’t refundable and return shipping is your responsibility.
